Ruka Winter ('003/'004)
Ruka is not in Lapland, but Ruka is quite close to Lapland - and so it is often
also called "Gate to Lapland". Around a 'Tunturi', which is some kind
of mounain-ish type of collection of large hills, you can find a first-class skiing
area with everything you need: supermarkets, bars, snowcats, endless routes for
cross-country skiing - and of course many many Mökkis - these comfy, cozy
little wooden cottages, all 'traditionally' equiped at least with fire place and
sauna
