The Lutheran Cathedral Church (Tuomiokirkko) on Helsinki’s Senate Square, also known simply as the White Church, is probably Helsinki’s, if not Finland’s, most internationally famous building. The Cathedral Church is about as representative of Helsinki as the Brandenburg Gate is of Berlin.
