The baggage reclaim area at Tegel airport shone, like everything else, mainly because of the short distances. If you parked your plane directly at the terminal, you could walk directly on the plane to the baggage carousel. An advantage that sometimes turned out to be a disadvantage – because usually you were at the baggage carousel much faster than your luggage.
