The Liesenbrücken bridges in the Berlin district Wedding: four large steel arches, some of which are obviously rusty, stretching across a traffic circle. This is where Liesenstraße, Gartenstraße, Ackerstraße and Scheringstraße meet. The Berlin Wall used to run along Gartenstraße and further along Liesenstraße. The bridge connected East and West Berlin, so to speak – although no trains ran here for many years. The Liesenbrücken has been a listed building since 1991. Today, the Ringbahn runs here again, connecting East and West Berlin.
