During the autumn and winter months, Berlin can ‘shine’ in the most beautiful shades of grey. The colour grey can become so dominant in the meantime that I might suggest the title Three Colours Grey for a fictional Berlin documentary. The sky is covered by a single cloud that seems to stretch from horizon to horizon – and landmarks like the Berlin Wall make their own special contribution to the grey-grey cityscape.
